ABOUT THIS BLOG
Welcome to my blog! I am writing about what it is like for a slightly out of shape, 40-year-old, single mother, cancer survivor, special educator, army combat veteran, non-swimming woman (ME) to train for my first triathlon! I am participating in this training as a way to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society as a part of Team In Training. We are a group of amazing, slightly weird, passionate people interested in supporting people in our local area going through cancer treatment.
MAKE A DONATION ON MY WEBPAGE: http://pages.teamintraining.org/or/pctri10/kristashultz
Will I learn how to swim? Will I make my fundraising goal of $3400.00 by April 15th (the deadline I need to meet in order to compete in the June 27th Triathlon)? I HAVE LEARNED TO SWIM! I HAVE SURPASSED MY FUNDRAISING GOAL!
If When I make it to the triathlon, will I make it through the .91 mile swim, the 28 mile bike ride, and the 10 kilometer run? Follow along with me for 107 days of training and fundraising to find out!
